Brand and Create 5 Templates for new website

This project is to create a branding identity for a new website and then create five page templates for that website. I want to easily import the pages into Dreamweaver as I will be using this to manage the site. I will want the site to use CSS rather than tables. I would prefer it to meet xhtml specifications. ## Deliverables In the attached zip file, see the 'Schema' document and the .doc file first (NOTE the DOC file has now been pasted in below so is not present). This show an overview, and the website plan. The other documents are mockups of the 5 templates I requre. The 'Vopod' is just a site I saw where the videos looked good to me - FYI. Purpose of site The website offers guidance to Internet newcomers. The centrepiece is 25 videos 5 to 10 minutes long which I have already created explaining simple tasks which need to be undertaken on the Internet ??" for example, tasks around creating websites and creating a blog. Most of these videos also have flowcharts which I have created, for those who prefer this format. There are also written descriptions of the topics covered. Step 1 Step one will be for you to present me with several ideas for a branding identity. I hope that we can quickly agree an idea to go ahead with. Step 2 Step two will be to create a home page for the site. We can knock this backwards and forwards until it is what I want. Step 3 Step three will be to apply the same branding to 4 other templates which I will need the site. Timescale I want this project completed as quickly as possible, preferably within two weeks. Step 1: Branding The values I want this site to convey are: modern stylish cool slick friendly accessible helpful I will be featured quite prominently myself on the site - my visitors will know there is a real person behind the site. I like the idea of having a character - like a cartoon sort of character - associated with my brand. This will incorporate the values mentioned above. It will also have an element of humour, making it more friendly. Would this work do you think? I am thinking it could be wrapped around the logo, or be part of it. I am open to ideas here. The branding/identity would, of course, need to be applied to the whole site when it came to production ??" header, icons, menus etc. Step 2: It seems wise to me that, once a branding has been agreed, you work just on the home page until it is representing what I want. Then, step 2… Step 2 … applying the same look and feel to the other four pages - should be fairly straightforward.
