Write some VB6 / Visual Basic 2010 Software

I need a very simpe software in Visual Basic "Whatever" version you want A dropdown to select the com port available and a "connect" button When press connect, the button text change to" Conecting..." the program will try to connect with the serial device and must send the text "deviceon" , if response it's "DOn" then change the button text to "connected" If no response or response not equal "DOn" then try for 4 times more (each second) and if after 4 retrys, "DOn" it's not recieved, then stop connecting and change the button text to "Connect" , an error message must appear somewhere saying "There was a problem connecting with the Device" A "gear" icon to open setting windows, the setting windows will have just 2 field, ip server and port, this will have a default value of 127.0.1 and port 490, if i change this values, changes must be remenber always So guessing we recieved "DOn" response, we are connected, the device will send "text" sometimes, the program must send the text recieved to http://IPSERVER:PORT/[login to view URL] (xxxx it's the text recieved) I upload a simple software i made for vb6, it's works, the text recieve from device it's printed into a textarea and send to a server, sometimes fails to send to the server i don't know why I made a button to send "deviceon" to the device, but i'm not able to make it works, seems i'm no sending the data in the right way Must for the software I want the Source code I want as compatible as possible (winxp to win10)
