We have a WordPress website in development for a hotel. The theme we are using has a widget built in to allow people to book online. This widget is not compatible with our online booking engine.
I need someone to create a new widget that replicates the look of the existing widget, but will connect to our online booking engine. This will require an HTML form to pass the parameters to the booking engine. There are a couple of different layouts that will be required, depending on where in the site the widget/form appears.
The booking engine is a separate website that resides on a different server (IIS). In our existing setup (which includes our current website and current booking widget), completing the widget causes the booking engine website to open in a new window. I would like to streamline this process and embed the booking engine site within the WordPress theme and template (maintaining the look and feel of the new website).
In short:
1. build a WordPress widget (HTML form) with multiple layouts
2. pass info from widget to an external site
3. display the external site within the main WordPress site (iframe or similar)

• Solution in current website is the form ”Book Now!”, displayed in an iframe on all pages of www.redtreelodge.com.
• WordPress theme is Soho Hotel: [url removed, login to view]
• New site is being developed in a temporary directory and will move when it goes live, any fix must be able to accommodate this easily.
• New site is responsive for all screen sizes, and the online booking website has a mobile friendly version which automatically displays if appropriate. This functionality is required in the new site as well (if the new site is showing a ‘mobile’ version, the booking engine should do so as well).
