Fix wordpress blog, update and plugins

MY blog has been out of date, I need the wordpress updated and make sure all the plugins are working fine.... also remove any extra un necessary code that is bogging it down and making it slower. I want to start updating it again and I notice my coupon press script "listing options" section is not working, I am not sure what I have to do to update, but its a quick job, needs to be done asap please. low budget.
