1. To develop the used book sales marketplace website. 2. The main features are as follows: Sellers: a. Sellers are students who can list the books on the site. b. Students can signup and login to view their dashboard. c. Listing : can fill in the details of the book - title, author, num of pages, edition info, Cover Page image upload, book category/subject etc., d. Once submitted the books will be listed on the site. e. Seller can manage the shipment of books / order status. Buyers: a. Students / buyers who require the book can visit the site and search for books. b. Search module to have search filters by author, by topic, by subject etc., c. User can select books, add to cart and proceed to checkout. d. Once payment has been done, a notification will be sent to seller and admin. Admin dashboard: a. Admin can manage the user accounts. b. Manage the Book listings. c. Manage the payments and transactions of sellers and buyers. d. Manage his commission payments on the sales done online. The site can be developed in WordPress with custom features developed. Woocommerce will be implemented for the ecommerce functionality. PayPal payment will be configured for payment.
