Project Description: I’m essentially a layperson when it comes to creating/publishing a WordPress website directory/blog. So excuse any improper terminologies or inaccurate nomenclatures. However, I’ll do my best to clarify all the sites requirements that I’m aware of. The site’s subject matter is on niche bars located around water and beaches. I have several domain names I’m considering using. Navigation Menu: Responsive menus with dropdown with categories/subcategories Theme needs to be compatible with all browsers Project will include: Website that performs as a full content site - blog - directory for the niche bars listing local/global beach tiki bar businesses Needs to be mobile-friendly - SEO-friendly URL structure theme Have professional (multi-author) blogging capabilities Site must allow businesses to register, upload photos and post articles/comments after admin approval - needs mapping functions showing locations Assistance in setting up analytics/AdSense – Create emails for site – installing social platforms – Install/setup analytics program separate from Google? Searchable database for users so that they can find the information Install best security plugin Shopping cart for 50 items that can be populated easily Plugins: Plug-ins for Google, AdSense and alternatives to AdSense to monetized site Widgets - Gravity Forms Widget - Simple CAPTCHA - Google Analytics installed - Integrate social media into site - PayPal plugin - paid memberships plugin - Google XML Sitemap - WordPress Security – Once finished upload site to Gator Host. Then run functionality, cross browser & responsive checks - Install search engine optimization elements from the very beginning - check your website for speed and whatever needs to make site optimal – I’ll purchase premium niche theme WP theme site and any plugins. All content, artwork and of course pay for supplementary website development work needed once website is published. These are WP themes & websites I’d consider emulating if they’d work for my websites requirements? I’ll need assistance in selecting the appropriate WP theme that fulfills my requirements.
