Web developer needed to set up reverse proxies for a Shopify site.

We are looking for a developer who is knowledgable with Shopify and DNS settings. We have an online store using Shopify, www.ourstore.com. We would like to set up a blog using Wordpress, but cannot do that under Shopify's setup. What our SEO consultant suggested is to have a reverse proxy set up where we can host our blog on a subdomain, [login to view URL], but have it appear in a sub-directory on our shop site, [login to view URL] We don't want to split our visits between our www and subdomains for SEO. We's link all posts and links working if a visitor was to go to a specific post ([login to view URL]) the correct page would load.
We are wanting this to be a "set it and forget it" project if possible. I am familiar with Shopify's redirect panel and capabilities, this is not what we wish to use for the project. We do not want the content of the blog loaded into a Shopify page, we want to load full Wordpress pages to take full advantage of the SEO and other capabilities Wordpress offers.
We have our domain registered at [login to view URL], which is where we have the subdomain set up and where we're hosting the blog. We have a cname alias that points www [login to view URL] for our onlie store.
