I've recently set up a woocommerce store which launches in December. I'm looking for someone that has worked on many woocommerce projects before - not so much the setting up and technical side, but more of the functioning website side.
By that I mean I need a commercial person who is not just a task orientated person who only takes direction for specific tasks. I need someone proactive who, when the site goes live, can be there to make sure its all working, and who can suggest new things to do based on their extensive knowledge of woocommerce store management.
Someone that can look at it and say things like "I see you have a reviews plug in. Do you know that if you download this other one its much better because it does X, Y and Z which yours doesnt. I can do that for you and get it all set up", or "I see you've got the email plug in but I think we could configure the templates better so they're better received. This worked for me on X client because I was able to do A, B and C", or "I see you have Xero accounting plug in but it doesnt look like its set up properly because X should be happening", or "have you seen the woocommerce site for X company? They have this really cool thing where they do A, B, and C. I think we should implement it on your site."
As you can see I'm tired of working with people that only have "yes" and "no" in their vocabulary. I need someone who can direct me on what to do as to date I've been doing all my research and buying plug ins and asking the "expert" to activate them and getting back "ok" - not, "You do know you've already got an email plug in - why don't we get you set up with that one first. I don't think you'll need this other one". Its driven me to the brink of insanity!
Anyway, you get the message - positive, creative, passionate woocommerce "shop managers" with a voice is what I'm looking for.
Please include "SHEEP" in your heading so I know you've read this. Obviously this will be an ongoing role so it will be difficult to quote accurately and I understand that.
