Add another payee to WCMP Stripe Payment Plugin

- Wordpress

- WooCommerce

- WCMP (WooCommerce Marketplace - not WooCommerce software)

WCMP have a split payment plugin, which enables us to split a commission percentage with our marketplace vendors, using Stripe Connect.

What we need, whether editing WCMP or adding a separate system, is to add another commission split.

Example of current setup:

- Shopper buys goods

- Vendor commission 80%

- Admin commission 20%

(I think it sends 100% to the admin Stripe account, then Stripe Connect sends 80% to the linked vendor account.)

I need another commission split, as we want to offer a permanent 3% commission, from the admin commission, to whoever referred the vendor to us to list their products.

However, the commission split wouldn't be from the original purchase, it was be split from the admins 20%.

So it would be:

- Vendor Commission 80%

- Admin Commission 20%

- Vender Referee Commission 3% of Admins 20%

So, say for example the shopper purchase is £100, it would be:

- Vendor £80 (80%)

- Admin £20 (20%)

- Vender Referee £0.60p (3% of admins 20%)

Can this referee commission be added to our current setup?

Country Finest is very new and not yet trading, but will be soon.

With BREXIT fast approaching, Country Finest has been created to support British independent designers, makers and niche retailers.

However, corporate social responsibility is very much on my mind, so, unlike many other companies, I want to make sure that Country Finest is generous from the beginning, giving something back to those who help us, which is was why we would like this extra 3% commission split.

WCMP are not the most helpful of companies. They have quote £4500 just to add this extra commission split for us to their current system. I simply do not have anywhere near this kind of money, so, I am asking for help from the Freelancer community to help move this ambitious project forward.

I am guessing that a referee Stripe would somehow have to be linked to a vendor (if that vendor has a referee, not all will) which will then take 3% of the admins 20%?

Or, could this all be setup within Stripe without touching the current system?
