Hi folks I'm looking to start up a small Sports Data company. Part of client deliveries will include XML and/or JSON files that get pushed to them (or accessible via an API). My main goal now is to get some decent file templates up and running so I can eventually start putting data into them. How I'll get data into them, I don't know yet - Manually short-term, and then via an automated system down the line hopefully. The files I'd like to have would be along the lines of the attached. I can provide a lot more examples of what would be needed if any interest in it. Definitely willing to negotiate on price and future work. Hope this makes sense. Hi there, Hope you are doing well. I can help you setup format either in xml or json or both. I would advise to use json format as they are more widely used these days. To create required format we first need to design database so that API can return data. Hi. I'm a software developer. I believe that the general opinion is that the format is not important, as long as it is fixed. This means that there are languages to describe the content of an XML file. These are then the XSD files. There are then tools to generate the XML editing stuff from the XSD files. For JSON there is a JSON schema. Depending on what your clients want to do with the data, providing XSD files might be what they need. We can discuss more by chat. Helge

Hi, If I understand correctly (please correct me if I'm wrong), you want an interface to input data to xml templates. If so, I can develop the application that could take both manual input and automated input as well (via command line arguments) so that in the future it will be very easy to adapt an automated solution to it.

From what I have read , there are only a few more things that needs answering so that I can understand your deployment. So let me elaborate on that . Can you please tell me what type of API you will be using for Data set ( IF ANY ) , Can you tell me the type of Server you have ? and of course what type of CRON it supports? Once I have these information, I will be able to build more wisely for you.
