Adamedia was founded in 2002 after Adam Wilkinson had gained a Bsc (Hons) degree in Business Computing. Adam already possessed the IT basics to be able to carry out the "General IT Solutions" part of the business. The Internet and e-commerce development skills were gained through a work placement year in the busy IT department of a large financial consultancy firm in Leeds. It was on this placement that Coldfusion and database skills were added to Adam's rapidly growing IT skill base. Since Adamedia first started many new skills and IT solutions have been added to the large catalogue of services that can now be offered. The IT industry is an extremely fast paced and in order to be able keep abreast of new developments, constant training is required. This is why Adam is currently studying for the MCSD certification which will allow him to add .NET to his ever growing list of skills.
