In case of Ad-Hoc Networks, Many routing protocols have been proposed, among which Position based protocols provide more advantage compared to it's topological counter part. We combined the multipath variant of a location based routing protocol with energy based metrics. Thus, improving the energy efficiency of the ad-hoc network and increasing it's overall lifetime. Qualnet Simulator was the software tool used.
