The portal includes Newsletters, Internal Job postings, Employee profile etc. and also acts as a Single Sign on (SSO) for various applications used in Reliance Industries. Currently over 300 projects categorized as Operations, Rollout and Development and tracked using this system at Reliance. The system has online features of tracking the entire SDLC process with CMMI level documentation for development projects and ITIL level documents for Operations. The system covers the entire project life cycle from Project Initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closure. The system defines a class to every project based on its duration and category. The system also includes a proper Change Request Management System against every project. Issues/Tasks Tracker is used to track various issues, tasks, milestones and deliverables for a project which in turn acts as a review system.ITPMS also maintains an e-profile of an employee which tracks his role in various projects and his technical skill sets. Various other modules involved in ITPMS are Timesheet Management, Application Portfolio Management, Requirement Management and Resource Management.Languages used: ASP.NetBackend: OracleDocument Management System – DMS is most widely used system at Reliance Industries. Reliance Industries’ Document Management System holds a record of hosting above 50,000 documents in one year. The system is used to upload documents from various plants, businesses and sites. Documents are stored in proper categories and online folders. Apart from password protecting a file and folder, an individual can also have his own space called ‘My Space’ where he can store his private documents. The system allows a user to share his documents with various other users or group from his My Space. We have used the Google desktop search with the DNKA plugin to search documents.Languages used: ASP.NetBackend: OracleKnowledge Management System (v1.1) – KMS v1.1 is under development and has lot more features than the version 1.0.
