• Supervise all the functions of the Stores Section. • Supervise receipt and dispatch of material and ensure proper documentation. • Ensuring adequate inventory levels of materials & products in accordance with inventory cycles. • Ensure provision of quality logistics services including transport, communication and security services as per Organization policies. • Performance of procurement activities within established purchasing procedures by receiving request, opening of tender and negotiating with vendors, examining price suitability. • Conduct market survey to ascertain the best products and services in terms of value, delivery schedule and quality. • Liaise between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments and clients. • Preparation of Purchase orders placement recommendations for consideration of higher levels of authority.
