Project Details :
1. “RSA Key Management (RKM)” C-Client Development
Product Name : RSA Key Manager
Module Name : RKM C-Client
Team size : 6
Duration : Mar-08 till date
Role : Design & Development
Environment : C, RH Linux, AIX, HP-UX, SUN SOLARIS,
Windows, Bugzilla, Perforce, gcc, gdb
Description
The RSA Key Management (RKM) solution provides policy-based, centralized cryptographic key administration for organizations that implement encryption-based data protection. RSA Key Manager has a key manager server, clients and administration console GUI. Centralised server generates, stores cryptographic keys and policies. Client component is a library that encapsulates cryptographic functions as well as the communications with the Key Manager Server. Business applications that integrate the Client library gain a consistent cryptographic capability without having to implement cryptography or key management themselves.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Development of APIs for backward compatibility of new version with earlier versions.
• Design & Development of “lockbox protection” for configuration files
• Performance Tuning and Troubleshooting
• Platform support on Power PC, AIX, HP-UX, RH-Linux and Windows
• Unit Testing and Integration Testing
• Creation of system test cases for system test bed
• Bug fixes and bug tracking of customer issues
• Integration of RSA Key Manager to IBM EKM for IBM LTO4 Tape drive support.
2. “RSA-Database Security Manager” – Maintenance
Product Name : RSA-Database Security Manager
Module Name : Command Line Interface
Team Size : 7
Duration : Feb -07 to Feb -08
Role : Developer
Environment : Windows, Bugzilla,
Perforce
Description
This project required RSA-Database Security Manager to enable encryption and decryption of data using command line interface on Windows.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Building cryptographic libraries in C on UNIX and Windows Platforms for DB2.
• Unit Testing
• Support and Maintenance for active customers
• Bug fixes and bug tracking of customer issues
