The Chief Service Officer position was created with my arrival. I lead the design and implementation of the new division. I was in charge of three areas 1) Tech-support 2) Customer service 3) Engineer Projects; I also promote and sale new post warranty contracts, manage customer conflicts and participate in all other managing aspects of the company: strategic planning, budgeting, hiring, expenses control and quality assurance.

As Deputy Director I help to create the institute and then become in charge of the daily operation of the Institute; Do the academic planning of the courses; Update and improve the curricula; Support the creation of our PhD program; Analyze the feasibility of new interdisciplinary programs; Mentor entrepreneurs; Organize extra-curricular activities; Support the planning of new laboratories; Do Industry outreach and link to health professionals for the identification of future projects.
Visiting ResearcherJan 2012 - Aug 2013 (1 year)
As Visiting Research I did Engineer Research and Development activities: I participated in the development of advanced medical simulators for training in the fields of radiology, cardiology, urology and neurosurgery. Along with undergraduates, graduate researchers and doctors we developed six simulators (femoral approach, endonasal access, ventriculostomy, discectomy, brachytherapy and drainage of abdominal abscesses) and worked with 4 companies (Laerdal, Simulab, Stryker and Medtronic).
Process EngineerJan 2010 - Dec 2010 (11 months)
As Process Engineer at the Department of Washing Machines, my role was to design and assist the implementation of a new assembly line for washing machines of 11 and 14 kilos. In parallel I also lead the Kaizen program for washing machines, which aims to continuously improve the operation.
Development EngineerOct 2008 - Dec 2009 (1 year)
As Development Engineer my role was to lead the execution of physical expansion projects for different races. Support management through the monitoring and analysis of key indicators and the preparation of material for accreditation. Our greatest achievements was the creation of two new academic programs and the institutional accreditation.
Maintenance EngineerJan 2008 - Aug 2008 (7 months)
My role as maintenance engineer for El Soldado underground mine and open pit. My duties were to support the corporate Asset Management initiative, which sought to establish world-class production processes; Support the migration to the Ellipse ERP software, through training and preparation of databases; and support the preventive maintenance of the equipment through the statistical analysis of repetitive failures.
