I love working with ReactJS (JavaScript, TypeScript) and I am also comfortable with Angular, PHP and NodeJS. From early beginnings with Wordpress plugins and simple algorithms at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in Maribor where I got my Bachelor's degree in computer science, to more complex web applications, which I encountered working for several different companies, my goal was always, to get useful experience and provide the best possible solution for my client’s problem. At U-centrix, where we had built web applications for a major tourist company in central Europe called PALMA, d.o.o. ([login to view URL]), the first step towards that goal had been made. Seeking new challenges, I found my place at Inova IT, where I began developing consumer and enterprise-grade products, with a focus on advanced web initiatives, to maintain an advantage in this fast-moving field of development. After what had been a very exciting year at Inova IT, I moved on to Povio Labs, a YCombinator Winter 2014 company based in San Francisco, where I have spent my time building amazing products for companies from the Silicon Valley area. In 2019, after finishing my projects at Povio Labs, I've decided to put my skills on the market as a freelance developer, where I soon landed my first contract for an InsureTech startup - Paysure Solutions. There I was responsible for developing and maintaining multiple web apps written in the latest versions of Angular and a mobile app written in Ionic 4. All apps aimed to simplify complex and resource-intensive internal processes in insurance claims processing. After three great years at Paysure, it was time for me to start working in the ever-evolving cryptocurrency space. I have been very interested in cryptocurrencies since the 2017 ICO mania and have been researching crypto projects all those years. This led to my first job in this space at Strips Finance, where I'm developing from scratch and maintaining a dApp ([login to view URL]) for trading interest rate derivatives on Arbitrum using ReactJS, Ethers.js, and Hardhat. I am always on the lookout for new tools and my curious nature drives me towards learning new things on a daily basis. Most of all, I am full of energy and my outgoing personality makes me a perfect addition to any project. For these reasons, I am confident I can add my piece of the puzzle to any future tasks that come my way.
