Experimental Investigation and Comparison of AISC and EUROCODE for Built-up CFT Columns.
iCSER (Proc. 2nd International Conference on Structural Engineering Research)
This is the Experimental Investigation on CFT columns under eccentric & concentric loading and Comparison between EUROCODE & AISC. We have made experiment on 6 Composite Columns and determined the capacity using EURO , AISC Code and compare them to the experimented value. We have found slightly difference among these three values. Finally we conclude " For Built-Up CFT Columns We should use AISC Code having about 10% Safety during Construction."
