Problem: Client wants to deploy application GLOBALEAKS to be installed automatically for multiple clients. He wanted end to end globaleaks deployment to be automated, from instance provision till DNS assignment for each client . Solution : A Terraform configuration file (.tf) is created to define tasks to be performed in AWS, such as creating an EC2 instance and remotely installing Docker to run a container using the remote-exec provisioner. There are two scenarios provided to the client, one using S3 bucket and modules, and the other without S3 bucket and using a single .tf file. The latter method is preferred as it is easier to update and manage, and better suited for handling dynamic numbers of clients. (Docker , Amazon EC2 , Terraform )

Project description -The client wants to move their entire 9 years data SVN repository to Git while preserving all of the repository's history and metadata. First, we gather all the information from the client side. Then generated an author file from the SVN repository which contains all the details of the authors who have committed code to the SVN project. With the help of the git-svn utility, we clone the SVN repository presented on the Visual SVN server and verify all the branches, tags, and trunk are cloned successfully. After that, we converted the SVN branches into git branches using the git branch command. Similarly, converted SVN tags to Git tags. Now we have all the branches and tags as local branches and tags in Git on our local server. challenge -Git cannot track empty directories, so empty directories in SVN won't migrate to Git, potentially causing build issues. Solution: Add README.md files to empty directories in SVN before migrating to Git.

In order to implement CI/CD, the client intends to use Open Source Tools such as Maven and Jenkins. Using Jenkins as a CI/CD orchestration tool, we have deployed an Open Source application deployment environment on AWS EC2. Using build tool Maven 1. Executed the test case using JUnit. 2. Generated an artifact ( .jar file) 3. The artifacts are stored in JFrog. Finally, application is deployed using Ansible. The client provides Ansible Playbooks (GitHub , Java , Selenium , Apache Maven , JFrog Artifactory , Ansible , Jenkins)
