A seasoned marketing and communications professional with experience in corporate and consulting roles; Sahil brings knowledge of strategic planning, cross-functional integration and operational excellence. A strong believer in the power of influence to drive business impact, he is driven by his passion for crafting compelling stories for brands within a metrics-driven framework.
Currently heading the Marketing and Communications vertical at Stanza Living, Sahil was one of the early leaders to join the company, responsible for driving consumer outreach, community engagement, brand awareness and market promotion from the ground up. Leading a team of marketing specialists, he has played a key role in brand building coinciding with Stanza Living’s growth from a Delhi-based business to India’s leading managed accommodation provider spread across 22 cities, 70,000+ beds under management.
Before this, Sahil was MSL’s Asia Automotive Leader and a part of the Strategy Group, playing an advisory role on the firm's strategic mandates in the automotive, mobility, technology, start-up, sports and consumer brand domains. He was also responsible for driving key new business pitches for the firm. In 2017, Sahil was selected as a top talent to represent MSL at Publicis Groupe's Global Leader's Studio program.
Before joining MSL, Sahil was the Social Media Lead at Ford in India and was responsible for structuring its social media strategy to improve brand favourability and purchase consideration. Managing a multi-disciplinary team, he led noteworthy digital-first campaigns, online reputation management, platform innovation, multimedia content development and influencer engagement.
Prior to that, Sahil was a part of Ford India’s Product Communications team. During his stint, he was a core member of the blended team that delivered high-impact campaigns including the launch of Ford EcoSport and the India preview of the iconic Ford Mustang.
Sahil has previously also worked with Edelman India as a consultant for brands including Harley-Davidson, General Motors and Red Bull.
Sahil is an Economics graduate from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University and has completed his Masters in Business Administration (Communication Management) from Symbiosis International University.
