Contest Brief

Our second son will be born in March and we still need to get birth announcement cards! Since we completely lack talent for graphic design, but have a pretty good idea what we're looking for, we thought we'd ask a professional to help us: our son will be called Linus Regulus (named after Chemist and peace activist Linus Pauling and Regulus, the brightest star in the constellation Leo, which is our first son’s name).

Visually, we’d like the same structure and aesthetics as the birth announcement card of our first son: a postcard printed on both sides.
Front: the night sky and the constellation (leo) with the name in cursive written in the sky and the birth date (calculated 3 March 2024). Underneath that a nightscape with the shadow/cutout of the city hall of Mechelen. At the bottom the usual icons: scale for weight, ruler for length.

Back: Middle picture of our baby boy, framed by some animals (important are our two cats, the grey tiger on the left and black cat on the right)
