Contest Brief

Makarios Rez is a: non-profit 501c3, christian based, 2-4 year mentoring program and support home, for aged out foster youth "interns" between the ages of 18-26. Directors and/or coaches will live on site helping to facilitate the mentoring/support and community strength for all "interns" to sustain an independent life. Areas of support will include, but not limited to: Spiritual, Professional, Social, Financial and Physical development. Makarios is greek for Blessed/Better and Rez is short for Residence/Home. Makarios Rez hopes to model, daily, for all "interns" - that living life including God and others may lead to a better/blessed life. Makarios Rez needs a logo that will become familiar to the Aged out Foster population as a place of trust and support they can depend on. This logo will also symbolize to contributors that this home will be a place of safety for the lives living at Makarios Rez.
