Hi there!

BACKGROUND:
We are a productivity software start up based in Vienna, Austria (https://allactivity.com/).
We are in the process of setting up our blog and require your assistance in media enhancement!

GENERAL TASK DESCRIPTION:
We need a flat illustration for an introduction section to support one of our articles about timekeeping. Your task is to create an “Evolution of Timekeeping” timeline illustration showing how humanity progressed from basic manual instruments to advanced digital tools. The main aim of the article is to showcase how even the most modern and hyped tools are, in fact, good old stopwatches. The general feel should be funny and whimsical. Please, take a short minute to investigate the evolution of timekeeping tools to have a clear vision of what should be illustrated :).
There should be approximately 4-5 stages/figures:
1. Ancient timekeeping: caveman-like man with a stick upright in the ground (as in with a time measuring tool, not a weapon) / Egyptian man with a stone obelisk (shadow clock) or other ancient tools
2. A man with an hourglass
3. A little more modern man with a clock
4. Digital modern man. This character could reflect our brand somehow. Perhaps, he could hold a laptop with our logo on it.
These are brief suggestions and you do not have to follow them, as long as you deliever the essence of the evolution of timekeeping. Have fun with it!

COLOR SCHEME:
The illustration should fit the general style of the website, so please stick to the website color scheme. Accent color could be added as you desire.

Simplistic, 2D, flat, yet unique and with character. We want you to step up from overused blobby humans, but keep it simple. It should be an evolution timeline illustration, minimal/solid color/no background.
