Create a logo design for a music brand

Contest Brief

Epiquaver is a music brand name composed of two words; "epi" (Greek for "above" or “upon”) and "quaver" (which is a musical eighth-note). I would like a logo design made in Adobe Illustrator that is similar to the current logo.

All letters need to be capitalised. You may use the current font that was used (BlairMdITC TT) or find a font that is similar to the current one; think epic, cinematic and musical. Black and/or white is preferred for the overall logo, but not essential as other colours may also be used, but please keep it minimal; you can also play around with dimension such as adding sheen or shadow to the overall logo. The quaver (eighth-note) was an idea of mine made into a lowercase “q”. I would like to keep the shape of it , but you can work around it.

Have a look at the examples attached to give you more of an idea of what I’m looking for.

If you are awarded this contest, I will want the Adobe Illustrator file, as well as the PNG file of the logo.
