Contest Brief

I want you to create one seamless texture of these Hardie shakes:

Also see the attachments! The Staggered Edge Hardie Shake is what I want and the weathered wood roof is an example of a good texture.

A few things that make a good texture:

- obviously it should be tile able
- please include normal and displacement maps
- It should look like a brand new product instillation but also have just enough randomization to not look like it's just a repeating pattern
- when loaded to the correct size in a rendering it should tile out to be about 10'x10'

I think something like this is normally worth closer to $10 or $15 so if you are good at this it should easy money. If you are not an expert please don't waste your time (and mine)!! Whoever wins I will be interested to keep working with regularly. I probably need 1-5 hours a week of photoshop help.

And for all please at least read the basic criteria for being considered! You need to submit a photorealistic image that tiles seamlessly (diffuse map), and the normal and displacement maps that go with it.

So 3 image files in total!

Hardie products are cement fiber boards meant to look like wood.
