Contest Brief

Our book is a funny book of catch phrases that is meant to have the reader laugh at the quirks of the teaching profession.

We are looking for a simple cover with a symbol that represents teachers such as a coffee mug that says #1 teacher.
The title:
You Know You’re a Teacher When...

Placement of author names at the bottom, small:
Christina Duskis and Christie Markvart

We’ve attached a picture of a coffee mug that that we think would be a great image for the cover. So we are looking for something like this.
We are open to the idea of purchasing a stock photo because we want to make sure we own the copyrights to any images we use on our cover.

We are open to background colors.

The book is shaped like a square. It is 8 1/4 inches by 8 1/4 inches.

We are open to new ideas as well, but the above is what we have pictured in our mind.

Symbols we don’t want:
Chalkboard
No clip art
No humans

Also, looking for someone to be flexible if they submit and we would like to make a subtle change.

We are willing to pay for a stock photo because we want to ensure we will have the copyrights to the photo on the cover.
