Contest Brief

I don't like the bird cage in my logo. It doesn't really fit what we do. We are a manufacturer of herbal remedies such as muscle salve, skin care items and some beauty products made with herbs and essential oils. I really want my logo to have a mortar and pestle inside the name "Apothic Garden" like maybe the mortar and pestle is the "o" in the word "Apothic". I want a certain feel to the logo. I don't want it to be too masculine or too femenime. I have included some styles I like but I don't want them to be copied these are just style references. I do want the logo to be black and white. Feel free to be creative the mortar and pestal does not have to be in the text but I thought that would give it an authentic feel. I do want my logo to be unique and I have not seen this done in other logos of this type. If I didn't make it clear my company name is "Apothic Garden" I have also included our current logo. I don't like it. I want a font similar to the one I currently have or one like it you can google "apothecary font" and some come up the style is distinct. I don't want just plain block font. I've had 27 entries so far and NONE of them are even close. I'd rather keep the logo I have. I don't think ANYONE is reading what I want. My favorite image below is the one that is named Apothecary.png. I like the font and creativity, however if there is a way to incorporate the mortar and pestle into the lettering that would be great. I can go get a font myself and use illustrator to add clip art. I want a logo that is not totally a stock font. I would like to see something creative that I cannot do myself. I am not an artist but I can use illustrator, I would like something more complicated than I can do myself.

None of the 27 entries are even close. They are NOTHING resembling what I want. Please read what I want and look at my images I have posted. How hard is it to understand black and white - no color? I don't think so far anyone is even trying.
