Contest Brief

We are looking for a logo for a new restaurant and banquet facility that will be called, "The North House". The business is operating in a building with portions of it dating back to 1757 built by the North family. The property the business is at was a one time blacksmith shop. We would like a logo that reflects the heritage of the property and has the feel of such a historic property. Some of our possible thoughts are as follows; something incorporating blacksmithing tools (anvil, bellows, etc.) or a monogram of some sort.

We will be catering to both high end wedding (events) clientele as well as high end restaurant clientele so perhaps adding the text "Restaurant" and "Banquets" underneath the logo may be helpful.

The restaurant is located in the town of Avon, CT.
