Contest Brief

As the founder of an online dating start-up I am seeking a logo which will best encapsulate the purpose of the website and app which my company is due to release in 2016.

The logo must represent the human connection which is associated with dating, and in particular the beauty and joy of the dating experience itself which is what our company promotes.

While romantic elements are permitted in the design no kissing must occur. If the logo includes people it is preferable that they be silhouettes although I will not disregard any submissions that choose otherwise.

It is also important that the logo appear very modern and attractive in how it looks, and appeals to both men and women. In terms of colour there is a very strong preference for blue and green – black and white are also permitted colors in the logo. I am looking to avoid orange, brown, and purple.

For reference points please look at the logos for Match.com, Plenty of Fish, Friends Reunited, Tinder, Active Singles, Cupid, and the logo for the videogame Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture.

Save for these stipulations I would like to leave the rest to your talented imaginations.

Pay For A Date - whether the title or letters are included, or it is entirely avoided is up to you. We designed a logo which included the title when setting up the website and app merely as a starting point but it is not mandatory.
