Contest Brief

Hi, I need an elegant simple logo for 'Marlow Marquees'. Brand colours at the moment are orange and blue but we are thinking to go for black and red. the logo should have something that links to a marquee (tent). Such as a play on the letter M. I have attached a similar concept but it is not to be copied, more for inspiration. I have also attached the old logo which is terrible.
