Contest Brief

Hi.

This is a contest to design 4 flyers.

Please submit at least 2 designs for any of the 4 flyers; you can choose which.

On the basis of those 2 designs, I will then select a winner of the contest. This winner must then produce a design for all 4 flyers.

Please see attached brief for a scope.

This contest has been sealed so that only I can see all the results.

Please use the public board to clarify anything that is unclear.

Just as an FYI, to me that concept of including an example of a pattern is about saying, here is this really hard pattern, and we know how much you hate doing these quizzes (which students have to in order to get jobs). SHL, by the way, is the name of the company that administers these tests. So SHL-itis is like a made up disease that the student would get because they hate the tests so much. So this is the angle we're playing up - students hate these tests, and it's almost so bad that it gives them a disease.

Would you like design to be only typographic with some graphic elements, or could we include some images and illustrations? If so, do you have any suggestions? Thank you.

  It is entirely up to you. You may like to incorporate graphics. One idea I did have was to pepper the logos of various companies (that students would be applying for) around the outside. You may or may not like to use this idea. I have now uploaded these logos.
