Contest Brief

We are a childcare provider located in Australia. Our centre cares for children between 6 weeks old and 5 years old and is located in a quiet suburban location in Queensland. This will allow you to get a feeling for the centre environment which will be a very important consideration in this project.
We are currently rebranding our service to AppleBerries Early Education Service Beenleigh and our new logo is attached for your reference.
Our brand persona is a “home away from home”. We offer a home-like environment and feel, where we are an extension of our families that use our care.
As part of our rebranding exercise we need to update the reception area of our centre. It is currently very sterile and does not reflect our “home away from home” persona. I want our families and prospective families to enter the centre and immediately be impressed by the design of the reception area because this is what they see first. It must be eye catching, and it must reflect our home away from home persona.
This is where I need your help. Attached are several photos of the reception area. I would like you to design a new look for the reception area that supports our brand persona. Here are some details of the area itself.
The room dimensions are 2900mm long by 2400mm deep
The reception desk is 700mm wide and 2200mm long
The waist high door is 700mm wide
Your submissions should be in full colour and if design changes are made to desks etc, full dimensions should be included as well.

The large photocopier and computers must remain in this space as it is a functional office space that our Centre Manager uses daily.

  Yes, reception table and computer table are to remain, however they can be painted or resurfaced to fit into your home away from home design.

Ok, But there are no dimensions with door entrance (width and height ), window/ opening size in the reception area, sidewall dimensions in the reception area. If you can give this dimension, I can give in detail layout with furniture arrangement
