Contest Brief

Hi,

I’m working on time management. I have identified all possible tasks people do during their work time (for example : hiring, creating offers, building a list..etc), and I’d like to put them in a poster. There are around 60 activities, and they are separated in 4 categories. Please find them in the Word doc attached (The activities in blue are people's private activities : please put them as well somewhere in the poster). Also find attached my drawing of the 4 different sections, just to be clear.

I would then print the poster in different sizes (from 20cm x 25cm to 50cm x 35cm) and frame it. It would be hooked in different walls in the office. This way, people would easily refer to it… but it has to be very appealing.

I think it would be better on PORTRAIT format, because the lowest value task would be at the bottom of the poster, and the highest value tasks at the top. I would like the lower value tasks to be on smaller fonts, then the more the task increases in importance, the more the font increases as well.

I don’t want it to look as an infographic with poor artwork, but as a real poster with a fantastic design, to look great in the office. I’ve had 3 different ideas regarding the design :

- A vintage design as if the document was coming straight from the show “Mad Men”, where everything would look as if it was written with a typewriter.
- A newspaper design : the name of each activity would be framed as a small article.
- A Victorian design, as if coming straight out from the movie “Sherlock Holmes” (with Robert Downey Jr), on an old paper.
- An office design, with post-its, a notebook, a desk, a blackboard or whiteboard...

Choose the one you feel the most comfortable with.

This job should be easy for you if you know what you're doing.
