Contest Brief

I need a logo and a landing page image based on the logo for the website www.informaticabaas.nl. This site will be launched the coming month.

InformaticaBaas is Dutch for “Computer Science Boss”. Which refers to the phrase “Like a Boss”. To do something like a boss is to do it with stylish confidence or authority.
This website is a learning platform for Dutch K12 students who will learn Computer Science. K12 students vary in the age of 15 till 19 years. On this platform they learn the basics of computer science like programming, design, algorithms, processes, information representations, machine learning, VR, and so on. They learn by working quite independent through the various modules. The material is self-explaining, and the student gets lots of feedback. There are lots of exercises in which the student gets feedback immediately. In Dutch you could say: “The students are boss on the own learning experience/process”. (Which doesn`t translate nicely into English).
Startingpoints:
• Website: InformaticaBaas.nl
• Subtitle: Leer informatica als een baas! (Learn computer science like a boss). If possible, use the subtitle. But if this doesn’t help to logo, feel free to ignore it
• Colours: no colours yet selected. But keep in mind this is a platform for age 15/19 students. On one hand the appearance should be playful, on the other hand, it should be professional. The colour scheme of the logo will also recur on the site.
• Exact details of logo: completely open for suggestions. (Could be cartoon style, or modern signs, or…)

After the logo and landing page image I will also need more material based on the same (house)style, like banners, icons, pictograms, and some advice on the look and feel of the website, primarily focus on look and feel

    Thanks for the entries so far.

    I see almost none of the logos use the “cartoon” style. (Don’t know the exact word for it). But something like this would also have my interest.
