Illustrate a ComicBook Character.

Contest Brief

I need my next Comic Book character design and it's going to be fun. Here we go. I would like to have the God of my comic universe illustrator. He is made out of words of every conceivable language. they float around him. They stream out from him as if streams of light.

Now to give you some idea of his physique I have attached a picture of what I think that should look like. I would like his look to look exactly like this. I want the locks and the physique. Now I would like his locks to be bad-ass looking. They are coils of words that look like locs. For his face I want it to resemble a face with a word in various places. (You'll have to try a couple of things here, I'm not sure how I want his face to look. Surprise me.)

Now one other thing about the words and light. Please make the light look gold and white, also mixed rays of gold white light all coming off his body and the words.

Do well here and there will be more work for you. A lot more work.
Now pose wise, he's a God so yeah, something God-like.

Addendum: I've decided to add a couple of drawings I've had before so that people can see the type of work I am accustomed to. Please take a look at them. The drawing needs to match this level of quality. This character you are designing will go into the same ComicBook as the characters attached, so the quality must be the same.

Addendum: I've added a picture of a character that looks somewhat similar but not remotely near what I am looking for in physique hair and appearance. Take a look at the picture entitled "Word Guy" this will have red and black looking guy that has words around him. Take this concept and use it to give you an idea of what I am looking for in the description above. Apply my description to this design. I will continue to look for a better picture of him but for now, that is what I have.

      Not even close. you laid text over a body, the exact thing I specifically asked many of you NOT to do. I wanted the body to be made in some way of words. That is why yours didn't make it. Sorry Carlos, I really am. I know you spent time and energy and for that I do apologize.

    About two days ago, I said I'd raise the price on this but I forgot. So I did that today. The contest is now worth $75. I have one other thing to say. To depict what I have described you have to get your hands dirty. You can't just paste words on top of a form and hope I like that. Just by looking at how detailed my description is should hint that I am not just going to accept anything. I am very particular, I know exactly what I am looking for, and I know one of you can do it. I will wait until someone does it before I award this prize.

    5th Two more things I forgot, Don't place the words in nice lines as you develop his body from them. THey need to look sentient, alive, a controlled eye pleasing chaos.... but not straight perfect lines. Also again the letters need to be in different languages, I think Gilberto did this correctly.

    4th: Finally this guy is a God! Please present him as such. Little things I've asked for like the lightning being filled with Words and all of the outside stuff that makes him look even more bad-ass I need all that. So again no one has won this yet, because I still am missing those things.

    3rd: Locks: The next thing were the locks, same as my first comment, they need to be made of letters/words and although my highest ratest entry is close its not what I asked for. His locks have words on top of them. I can see the difference. First once that can get this right and the body right with the right color scheme and in high quality, thats my winner.

    The second thing you guys weren't getting right was the color scheme. Now Gilberto G has done it right with his latest entry. White light and White Gold. You did a great job on subtlely making the locks on his hair more gold. You did a great job on the locks themselves with color so this was another thing I like about his entry.

    For those who are still presenting images no one has one this contest yet because I am not 100% satisfied. Even on the ones I like if someone can fix those problems then we will most likely have a winner. So far I can TELL that you guys are placing words or letter on top of a body. Well if I can tell don't you think the people reading the comic book will. I am not looking for words pasted on top of a body. His body needs to be humanoid in form but MADE of letters (in various different languages.)

    Right now the drawings are not matching anywhere near the level quality I am looking for. I have added to addendums to the descriptions that should make things a lot clearer.

      I hope so, and I just took a look at your page. It looks like you have the skill to actually do what I am asking so as you design him think of this. What would a God look like who has a large muscular humanoid form that is made of words? HIs humanoid form is the words but you can definitely tell he has a humanoid shape. His face and locks are crucial. I 'd like his face to definitely look humanoid, probably place some words in some cool positions on his face but don't overwhelm it. I want him to have an attractive look even though there should not be any overly distinctive features on his face. His eyes need to be glistening, but how I haven't decided. His locks are made of words, coiled in the same arrangement you see in the picture of the guy's locks. Make the words on his lock look like they are glowing with a more golden light than the words that make up the rest of his humanoid form.
