Contest Brief

I am looking for a new logo for my business.
NAME: Paper Colada
TAGLINE: A Cocktail of Vintage Papery

I run a vintage invitation and stationery business but am too close to the job to design my own logo objectively.

A few key points that may assist in the design process:
-The logo should be square, the banner should be around 1200 x 300px.
- Focus on 1940s themes
- Feminine looking but not pink and floral
-1940s colours (see attached colour palette for insipreation)

Please see attached my two best selling items, as well as my current logo which I had this designed here on freelancer. I was happy with this logo at the time, but I've knuckled down the niche target for my shop and feel this look is a little too straight/modern.

Employer Feedback

“Jacob nailed the look I was after. His first attempt was not really quite there, so he took on my feedback and came back with no just one or two, but with 4 fabulous and very different looks that each had all the elements I was after for my logo. It was almost a shame I couldn't use them all! ;-) Once I had decided which one I liked, I explained my needs in reference to file format and he had all variations back to me within 10 minutes. I will seek him out for other work for sure!”

Please read the description carefully. I am looking for something with a heavy 1940s feel, not a Victorian, floral or Baroque look. Feminine 1940s is what I'm after.
