No submissions yet in this genre. The old propaganda posters have a revolutionary, iconic, feel to them. Lots of edge and color. Visually stunning, they feel counter culture. If someone could combine this look with the filmmaking/mercenary concept. No entries with this feel yet.- 12 years ago

#102 I'm working on a character with this logo on his shirt. Or maybe I shouldn't bother? if you don't like it.
Looking at it, this logo could end up, around your city, if you like that sort of thing. Not that I'm condoning graffiti like...- 12 years ago

http://www.amazon.com/Old-Glory-Dropkick-Murphys-T-Shirt/dp/B000E24GB8 The graphic in the middle of the text on this T-shirt is close to the "in-your-face" boot logo. If the text could be incorporated into the tread of the boot-print itself that would be cool.

A stand-alone set of dog tags would maybe look good, too.

Could someone do a boot-print in combination with the text? I'm thinking a combat boot print would sort of imply an "in your face" style of marketing

Referring to #1, the design is too clean for the look we're going for. A more natural integration of the graphic and text would be desirable. A different font would help as well.

Alright, Finished my entry. ( #9 ) I think it's a bit too "grungy" right now, but I'm my worst critic. If you have any suggestions or ideas for improvement, let me know!

Dear MercenaryMedia
Thanks for considering an entry from DevCubed.
So you're looking for something not so corporate?
Well we feel our entry could be just what you're looking for!
It's got a raw feel to the 'Mercenary' section, to reflect the rugged, big-leather-boots type word that it is, whilst keeping an urban, inner city vibe with the styling on 'media', allowing a nice balanced mix.
To go with your 'run and gun' type videography technique, a small graphic has been created to show this aspect.
Any feedback you would like to give would be very well recieved, and all the best with your contest!
If you feel our logo has potential, but does not quite fit in with what you wanted, let us know - we're more than happy to update it to your requirements.
Kind Regards,
