Logo Creation

Contest Brief

Hi Freelancers!

I'm starting a new business with handmade pottery, plants, and entertaining items for household and retail use. The name of my company is Homestead of Happiness and I need a logo designed!

I would like for it to be an easy to read font, one that is clever and interesting, but not too detailed. I would like to have a plant somewhere in the logo design, and I would like to keep it one color. If you want to incorporate a plant, a pot/pottery piece or anything that inspires happiness... not looking for smiley faces here. Looking to capture the feeling with something that can grow with me as my business expands.

I will want to use this logo as my brand identity. I want to stamp every piece of my pottery with this logo. I want to have packaging and retail merchandise work with it, too. I am looking to have the words either wrap or stack, but not be spread out as one long text without a break. Remember, I need to stamp my artwork with this logo, and if the word stretches too long then it will not fit on all of my pieces. I sell plants in my custom pots and have dinnerware that's fun for entertaining. All of my living decor items are meant to bring peace and tranquility, so I do not want to have a very loud or busy logo. Minimalistic, but sophisticated and fun!

Please show me what you can do!!!

7/27/2021: I really love the Monstera Leaf... if you can incorporate that into your design I think we will move closer to a final design faster! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE who has submitted multiple entries!!! Much appreciated!

7/28/2021: Let's get more creative with our designs... I like the circle, but I am not married to the idea--try other interesting shapes, Diamonds, Dotted Lines, Ovals, Squares... Some really amazing submissions so far, but I'm still not getting the exact vibe I am after. PS: Adding metallic and the logo on paper and objects doesn't do anything more for my decision. 1 color logos are all I need to see, save yourself the extra steps! THANK YOU! NOTE: I think I prefer the word HOMESTEAD OF to be in a standard font, and happiness to express happiness, something playful and clean script style would be great to see!

7/29/2021: I am very pleased with so many of the submissions but I do have a couple 5 star ones that I am leaning towards selecting. I would like to see any different attempts to original designs so I can weigh my decision and determine what logo will be the best for my brand image. THANK YOU EVERYONE!
