Contest Brief

I'm looking for a logo with the associated files, including a favicon. I would like the logo to have an empty background so I can put different colors behind it.

I need something that stands out but still fits with my target market. This is for a genealogy company. Many genealogy companies use the color green, so I don't want any green in my logo.

If things go well I would be looking for some future designs of marketing materials.
