Contest Brief

Design a logo for Ruapehu Distillery for your chance to win $150 US.

This artisan distillery is in Ohakune, at the base of Mount Ruapehu, New Zealand, in the dual heritage Tongariro National Park. Mt Ruapehu with its snowy peak dominates the skyline view. The area is clean and green with fresh water and lush forests. Ruapehu is well known for its adventure opportunities from skiing, boarding, mountain biking the Old Coach Road to fishing and hiking including the famous Tongariro Crossing.

We are looking for a simple and clean font with a perspective of going straight up to the mountain that incorporates the outline of the mountain at the top. We would look to incorporate bottle labels, social media, website - the logo is to be adaptable to the various platforms. Should you be the winner of this competition there is a possible option to be involved at all levels of graphic branding going forward. This competition will run for two weeks from 26 January to 9 February 2024. The winner will be announced on 12 February 2024.
