NOTE: I need a graphic logo more than the words. Homebirth midwife in need of a fresh cool logo! See attached for current logo. It's cute, non-transferrable, wrong color: mainly I'd prefer something that incorporates aqua/teal and also it's not portable outside vistaprint. Ideal descriptors of logo: main color a fresh aqua/teal with splashes of complementary colors good; love mid-century inspired graphics (yellow flower as example); can be more floral less "baby/pregnancy" but ideal to give the idea like the current one does (seedling in shape of pregnant body). The blue floral one I like but it's not portable outside the website it's on. I need something I can add to business cards, brochures etc. Something that combines elements of all three of these graphics would be great: a radiant sun, a blue flower subtly suggesting pregnancy or birth with a semi-mid-century esthetic. The graphic is more important than the words. I don't have a business name (dumping Dawning Mama), it's just my own name. So the only words that would work are:
Kelly Olmstead
Kelly Olmstead, LM, CPM
Home. Birth.
Licensed Midwife
The logo definitely needs to work independently of any words, as it would sometimes be on its own.

  No. That's my job description. If there are words it could be "Home. Birth." Or "Midwife" or my name Kelly Olmstead. Also the "Oh Baby" in the header is just to grab attention not part of a name or what I want in a graphic. HTH.

Please note: I have received many absolutely wonderful logos for midwives but can only pick one. Hang onto your logo if I don't select it as I am putting word out to other midwives who may want logos. I would suggest looking for other "Midwife" contests in the next few weeks and resubmit what you've already done.
