Contest Brief

We are a US based SW company offering tools in the Oracle database development tools market.

We are inviting you to provide us your ideas and recommendations to polish the draft design (see attached files) of our new website. The idea of this design is to allow a visitor to get first important information about our products without having to long scrolling (getting lost) down a page or jumping from page to page. If you have good ideas how to improve the look&feel of this design, please present your ideas.

There will be other pages focusing more on the details of each product, but designing these pages should be not a big deal. This project is under heavy time pressure and we plan to hire our selected "freelancers" as quick as possible. The selected "freelancer" should have the capacity to process the development with multiple own experienced staff or in cooperation with other experienced joined partners.

We expect the design and development work done within 30 days. All coding re access our MySQL DB will be done in cooperation with our people. Final coding of our online-shop will be also done by our own staff. Good English communication skills (writing/speaking) are a must.

  I would like to provide you more information and details about our general design and our expectations. It will help you and will increase to come up with some artwork with higher compatibility to our (my) expectations; we included some functionality in our general design (see our uploaded documents) which is based on the knowledge (by science) how people read, how people react on graphical elements and other layout design principles. I would like to share the most important aspects in that area, so you can include them into your considerations.
