Contest Brief

Please read the following information carefully before starting:

Logo Name
The name of the business and logo is SAFETYGAP
The business name alphabet may be displayed in any of the following formats:
• safetygap
• Safetygap
• SAFETYGAP

Business / Logo Objective
The objective of the business is to offer consulting services in workplace safety.
The objective of the logo is to communicate there is a Gap (Something wrong) in Safety at your workplace ie “SAFETYGAP”

Use of the Logo
The logo will be used to promote the business in the following mediums:
- Website
- Business cards
- Large Signage (Will need to be high resolution)
- Brochures
- TV Advertisement

Design
The design is ultimately up to the contestant in designing a logo which will communicate the logo objective.
Attached are some rough examples of concepts which can be expanded in line with the logo objectives. Please note we do not prefer any particular concept and will look forward to seeing your design.

Colour Scheme
•The colour scheme will need to be compatible with a variety of website designs
•Colour scheme will need to take into consideration the serious nature of the business.
•Colours such as pink or purple will unlikely be successful for the logo
•Otherwise there are no restrictions on colours
•Contestants are encouraged to utilise colours which will aid their design in line with the logo objectives
•Contestants may be contacted to provide colour scheme variants if their design is shortlisted

Output Files
Output files will need to be in high resolution in the following formats:
•AI (Adobe Illustrator)
•PDF
•JPG,
•PNG

Judgement
-Judgement will be based on elegance, creativity, appeal and effectiveness of communicating the logo objective.
-There are no time pressures on the logo design
-Contestants are encouraged to utilise their time to perfect their design prior to submission
-Entries which lack attention to detail are unlikely to succeed
