Contest Brief

Hello, I need a logo for my new free professional network for people working in civil construction. Our name is "On the Grid". It's a play on infrastructure networks e.g. electricity grid, roading, waters, and also engineers use grid paper every day!

The logo needs to be horizontal and be scalable so that we could use it small on a website header and larger on an event banner. A guide to our branding colours and design ideas attached (air new zealand logo is a good example) I also need an associated icon I can use on the website pages.

On the Grid's purpose statement is "We believe that by working together we can build a healthier, happier world where everyone has an opportunity to thrive."

    Hello again all. Thanks for the designs. I'd be keen to see a few more options that have some warmth/feeling to them too (as opposed to mostly strong engineering ones).     Hello All, thanks for the entries. Thoughts so far are that I'm looking to focus more on the community / professional networking element, rather than the construction / corporate look. Could go for just a typography logo or play on the connection and being connected. On the Grid's purpose statement is "We believe that by working together we can build a healthier, happier world where everyone has an opportunity to thrive."
