Contest Brief

Small business looking to convert our current excel spreadsheet system which can only be used by 1 employee to an online project management software. We are looking for a solution and would like to find someone that can achieve this for us.

We want all our staff to have access to this program and tick things off, and leave messages, even if possible to make due dates and reminders. The program doesn't need to look good, but quick functionality is essential.

What is the problem that we are currently facing? We have one person who is in charge of the excell spreadsheet and he needs to tick everything off himself. He is cc'd in all emails that are sent from the entire office and as they come in he ticks each item as completed. This is not a practical solution for the business to grow.

We want each person to be able to log in and have access to the data. This can be setup on an existing program online or a new program that someone designs. I am looking for practicality.

MAIN AIM:
I want the filters to work as per excel if not better
To be able to search jobs easily
Larger scale 200-1000 jobs - should be easy to search the jobs

Attached is an example of the current spreadsheet we have. I want to see some sort of example of some of this data being added to a program. Please try your best to come up with the best possible solution

This can be done on an existing program online / New program designed by yourself

    Will you wait for the contest time to be over and then compare the entries and choose the best one or will you finish it early ?

    Hello, I have checked the excel file,you have many columns, do you want to be visible all columns into list of jobs? I am asking this because to crea new application, we can display only important columns and rest of details display into job details when the user will click on the button edit job details, can you tell me which are the mos imporant columns? You will be ok if we will have separate sections to create jobs, projects, and one sections called dashboard to display them like you excel? Regarding comments for each job I can insert a button to add/view comments. Please tell me your opinion. Thanks
