Contest Brief

Project Purpose and Summary
We are looking for someone who will assist us in a short-term project to scrape university rankings
data from publicly available resources using a Python script. The script should enable us to find
the latest global university rankings.
Project will involve:
Writing and testing the script in Python.
 The Python script will extract university rankings data from the web, manipulate and clean
the data.
 Creating a CSV (Comma Separated Values) file with the following headings:
University Name
 Global Ranking
 University Website URL
 University Country Name
Obtaining 30,000 to 35,000 records from data located on 120-130 webpages
Project Output: CSV and Python Code.
