Contest Brief

I'm looking for a design logo for our New Zealand based hop farm called Waimea West Hops. The logo is primarily to be used on apparel such as hats and t-shirts in the first instance but our intention is to use the design on property entrance signs, bottom of emails etc.
The hop is used in beer and is a key part of creating the taste associated with beer. The hop is green in colour and the actual hop that we harvest is shaped like a small pinecone.
Attached is a logo from a brewery that I like and might be something that works for what i'm wanting to create,
