Contest Brief
I'm looking for a whiskey label that has somewhat of a vintage style on antique/old looking paper/backdrop. I'd like to see some examples of vector bordering/framing of relevant style. I don't want it cartoonish or overly colorful but the vector bordering/framing can be explored with. I've attached the image I need along with an example how I've edited it. To explain the image a bit; I want it to look like the 3 characters are in a dark room lit only by the candlelight. (This edited version is only an example but doesn't necessarily need to be used but it is what I'm kind of looking for.) The contents and positions are as follows:
Name of the Bourbon: ROGUE (I'd like to displayed Top-Center of the label in all caps in a font that is relevant as well as have it arching rather than straight across)
The image displayed under the name, ROGUE; fit nicely under it's arch
Then straight across under the image(no arching), I'd like the word BOURBON in a font identical to the font used for ROGUE.
The words "Quality Handcrafted Blended Bourbon" in a smaller size font than ROGUE and BOURBON directly underneath BOURBON but in a cursive style font.
At the bottom of the label as shown:
45% alc/vol
(90 PROOF) Bottle No.____ Handcrafted by________________ 750mL
***CHANGE/UPDATE***
Alot of these submissions are good, however I want to clear up a couple things: I need the image I attached as the image to be use on the label. The edited version of it was how I was playing around with it in order to give it more character. So let's go ahead and insert Sketch2 as the image on the label(my edited version). I am also attaching several examples of what I mean by a vector frame/border... a vector frame/border is a key element of what I'm looking for so please refer to these examples. Along with that I'm attaching a couple font examples I'm interested in...I like the "Rosewood" , "Showboat", and "Fame Type" on the examples so play with those if you can...another note: This label will need to be rectagular in shape measuring 3.7 inches across and 5.375 inches high..also one last thing for now... I've seen the antique paper look backdrop and I'm wondering if that's still what I want...so let's submit examples of both antique as well as a black backdrop and I can evaluate the difference..thank you and good luck!
***UPDATE***
Some excellent submissions so far...some things to experiment is Fonts and the vector/frames...don't be afraid to exaggerate or go overboard with it...I really want a label to be very elaborate!... alot of you have done a great job as far as positioning and using the content as requested but one thing to keep in mind is: I'd like 45% alc/vol and (90 PROOF) located one over the other because the point of the parenthesis of (90 PROOF) is to clarify what 45% alc/vol is...meaning I don't want them too separated from eachother hence one clarifies/explains the other...I will allow for alot of time to decide so please submit multiple versions as some have...it's a 7 day deadline so I will be allowing submissions to come in till at least the 20th...good luck and great job to those who've submitted thus far!...keep changing or submitting other versions and don't be afraid to be extremely elaborate!
***LAST UPDATE***
I am attaching the bottle dimensions to give you all an idea as to how to shape the label if possible...this is not a requirement to shape the label as the bottle but I just wanted to show you all incase. I will be deciding soon but trying to provide feedback as much as I can...
