Blog Writing for Startup
$2-8 USD / hour
We are looking for Blog writers for 5 different startups:
1. Investment Startup
2. Education Startup
3. Career Startup
4. Travel Startup
5. Technology Startup
Please treat this hiring as a formal interview process and be prepared to answer questions. We will require proof of your prior work. You will also be required to submit a blog/essay on one topic given to you. Based on these criteria we will make our final selection.
We are more interested in a long term hire. You can work on your own time - as required.
For the Investment startup we would prefer having someone with a degree or experience in Finance/Investments. The blog-writers could be located anywhere but we are looking for people who can write on various topics that affect the capital markets in the United States and Emerging Economies (India, Brazil, China, Russia, Eastern Europe etc.) When you apply, please mention about what country's investments/capital markets/economy would you prefer writing?
For the career start-up, it will be great if you have experience as an HR specialist, recruiter, resume writer etc - someone who can write confidently on career based topics. Location does not matter.
For the education start-up, we are looking for educators, school employees, students who have experience with the American Higher Education system. If you have attended or work for a US university and can write about various topics on education, you will be our ideal candidate.
For the travel start-up, we need someone to take pictures and write about beautiful and less known places in the world to visit. You can write about any country - but at this point - our first requirement is United States. Please mention what country/places will you prefer writing about.
For the technology startup, we need someone who can write a blog on cutting edge technology. Location doesn't matter. Writing skills, experience with technology and staying on top of technological innovations is what matters the most.
Knowledge of SEO is a plus.
