Add color to logo

I have a 582 KB JPEG image that has lettering of the name of my independent hip-hop record label: Richland Records. There's one problem: I need some color!
The first step is that the artist needs to clean up the image. There are some pencil marks (the original artist designed the letters on paper and we scanned it in) and I need the pencil marks removed. If you could cut out the letters completely and give me a pure white background, that would be ideal.
The second (and most important) step is to add color to the lettering. I would like the artist to exemplify the concepts of abundance (rich) and nature (land) but also masculine and strong at the same time.
The last step is to send me the letters filled in with all black.
So I ask that you kindly ship two files back to me: 1) a high quality image of the lettering being filled with color (step 2), and 2) a high quality image of the lettering being filled with all black.
